First home buyer

Contract price needs to be under $750,000 sale price for buyers to qualify for $10,000 first home owners grant

 

Off the Plan (OTP) stamp duty saving

You must live in the property as your primary home to qualify for Off the plan stamp duty savings. you 

3 level apartment buildings dutiable value is 40% of sale price.

4 level and above apartment buildings dutiable value is 25% of sale price. 

Eg. for a 3 level apartment with sale price of $500,000, if the buyer qualifies for OTP saving then the dutiable value is 200,000. This is the “Dutiable value” you put into the State Revenue Office calculator.
