Making the move to a new suburb can be a challenging task. You don’t know the best places for dinner, you’re unsure of where amenities are, and worst of all you’re unsure of where to get the best coffee!
Well have no fear, we at Cornus are masters of our domain, and by domain, we mean Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs. We have curated a list of the best places to shop, eat and spend your time outside of your new apartment in Malvern East.
Shopping
Chadstone
There’s no doubt that Chadstone is every Melbournian’s favorite shopping destination. It houses some of the best international and domestic designers on offer and you can grab anything you need all in one place. Whether it’s an air fryer from K-Mart, some groceries from coles or a new Gucci bag, you can literally shop until you drop. In addition to this, did you know it’s only a 5 minute walk from the Malvern East II apartment complex?!? We know, it’s the ultimate convenience.
Chadstone is also currently undergoing a major revamp, which entails; additional car parks (not that you’ll be needing that), an upgraded food precinct, an expansion of the leisure and dining precinct, and a nine story commercial office building. The primary focus of this upgrade is to increase the lifestyle of Chadstone and support the district to become an employment hub.
After the year that 2020 was, there’s no better way to shop than to support local and small businesses. We at Cornus believe it’s these businesses that shape these suburbs and give them the character and individuality that the residents love. So, we have shopped and curated a list of some of our favourite homewares shops that are located in Malvern East. These shops are also perfect for styling your new apartment.
