As another year comes to an end, the team is busy trying to complete as much work as possible so they can start 2022 strong.
The external works are well underway now and the building is really starting to take shape, accurately reflecting our renders. The scaffolding removal has commenced and all is removed up to level 1, we are on track to complete the removal by the 5th of January. On the rooftop terrace, we commenced rendering work, so our residents can enjoy entertaining with family and friends very soon!
The paver installation work on the balconies has commenced on levels 3 and 4. The tilers will be commencing work on level two this week after the waterproofing is complete.
Internally, the joinery and timber flooring installation is now complete up to level 4, with work commencing on that level this week. In addition to this, the carpet has now been installed up to and including level 3. In the common areas, all the interior hallways and terraces were sheeted with plaster. Next week, as we get closer to completion, the painter will return to complete the final lick of paint in this area.
Last week, we started digging up footings for all blockwork walls around the north and west sides of the site. We have to pour the footings and then the blockwork walls will be erected in early January.
As you can see it’s been another big month at our Burwood La Frank site. The team is gearing up for a busy Q1, 2022. We are aiming to complete this project asap for an imminent handover to our residents, so they can enjoy the new year in their new home.
