Carnegie Central
This shopping centre has a large range of stores and services from GPs to homewares you can find a large variety of everyday essentials. Along with this, Carnegie Central is host to a number of tasty restaurants, it’s your one-stop local shop.
Chadstone
With over 550 stores, there is no excuse for not being able to find what you’re looking for. Next time you’re planning on going on a shopping spree, Chadstone will be your go-to destination. You can indulge in luxury brands like Gucci or get some affordable homewares from Kmart. Chadstone has everything you could ever need under one roof. It’s also undergoing a massive $650 million dollar upgrade.

Located just two minutes away from our Cornus Carnegie apartments is your one-stop decor shop. You will have no trouble personalising your apartment with the eclectic and unique collection this store offers. Their outgoing and contemporary designs push boundaries, making every piece a conversation starter.
Wine & Dine
One of the best things about Carnegie is that you’re surrounded by a diverse range of dining options. Whatever cuisine you’re craving, you can step out of your apartment and find it right around the corner.
Bon Chicken & Beer
As a fried chicken lover, I can confidently say that Bon Chicken & Beer is one of the best fried chicken restaurants in Melbourne. You just can’t beat their authentic Korean fried chicken taste. If you’re not in the mood for chicken, they have a variety of dishes ranging from your authentic stews to a more modern twist on Korean food (trust me, the kimchi nachos are one of their best).
Left Field
This is the perfect Sunday brunch cafe, serving up some of the tastiest and most instagrammable food around. Left Field caters to a range of dietary needs, so there’s definitely a dish for everyone. And don’t forget to bring your four-legged friend with you as they’re pet friendly!

Daniel’s Donuts
If you tend to get late-night cravings for something sweet then we have the perfect solution for you! Daniels Donuts are one of the most well-known and loved donut shops in Melbourne. Lucikly for our Cornus Carnegie residents, this shop is only 3 mins away, so you can get your sugar fix any time of the day.
Antique Bar
Serving up a range of cocktails, beers and liquors, they certainly know how to give their customers what they want. As the name suggests, Antique Bar has put a lot of work into making this the most aesthetic heritage bar around. The overall vibe and details of this bar transport customers to the 1930s and provide a unique experience.
Spilt Milk
Spilt Milk is one of Carnegie’s most popular brunch spots. This cafe has truly built a reputation for creating some of the yummiest and more decadent breakfasts, in conjunction with serving some of the best local coffee in Carnegie.
Koornang Road
The inner foodie in you will thank you for moving to Carnegie. Renowned for its multicultural plethora of restaurants, Koornang Road or more commonly referred to by the locals as Eat Street, is your one-stop restaurant destination.
SOWL
SOWL has secured its place in this precinct, as the ultimate fine dining and wine destination. Its ambiance and menu are the perfect place for a date night or function. A night in this restaurant will transport you to Europe with the menus focus influence by Mediterranean cuisine.
Shuyn & Shyun Ramen Bar
This restaurant has firmly cemented its place as the go-to for Japanese food in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Shuyn originally started as a restaurant and has now expanded to a ramen bar and they offer catering services. Visiting Shuyn is like being transported to Japan. The restaurant serves traditional, fresh cuisine synonymous with Japanese culture. You can expect sashimi, nigiri, soba, and udon noodle dishes and lots of rice and don dishes. Whilst the ramen bar serves up the perfect lunch- ramen soup or a bento box.
Roule Galette
Bringing France to Koornang Road is the team behind Roule Galette, serving the most delicious traditional crepes. However, that’s not their only charm, the galettes pay homage to the mastery of french cheese and offer a savory option for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and if you’re game enough, they even have escargot.
Paradai Thai
Just writing about this restaurant is making me salivate. Paradai Thai restaurant serves all the traditional dishes you’re familiar with as well as many modern variations. Visiting this restaurant will have your tastebuds experiencing a flavour explosion. They serve everything from tom yum to curry and there’s no shortage of chilli.
Park and Reserves

Carnegie has a reputation for being known as a leafy suburb surrounded by parks. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention some of the beautiful natural reserves that residents can enjoy from places to relax, to dog parks and multi-million dollar playgrounds, there’s something to appeal to everybody.

Booran Reserve
Dubbed the best playground in Melbourne, Booran Reserve is the ultimate park and it’s located only 700m from our new apartment project. The park is so much more than a regular park featuring; water play areas, BBQ picnic spots, a gigantic playground, basketball courts and a flying fox. This park is suitable for ages appealing to young and old as a playground and place to catch up with friends or family members. Visiting this park you can see why it cost Glen Iris council $11 million to build.
Scotchmans Creek Trail
For those who love an exciting nature walk, Scotchmans Creek Trail is one you’re going to fall in love with. This 13-kilometer trail is scenic all the way through, offering you views and allowing you to spot local wildlife along the way. You can pass through wetlands, golf courses and even take a connecting path to Chadstone. Best of all, this is a shared path for pedestrians and cyclists so you are more than welcome to take a leisurely ride through nature.
Glen Huntly Park
If you’re looking for a more quaint and quiet park, then Glen Huntly is the one for you! They have a playground for your kids and BBQ picnic areas, so it’s the perfect spot for a more peaceful afternoon. The best part about Glen Huntly Park is that there is a designated off-leash area, so you can take your dog along.
